Brown and blue at last...

Hi bloggers,

Hope you are happily crafting away... I have been lucky to be able to post  so many pictures this month...

For this card I have used the following:

Brown card stock
Flower stamp - a freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft

Flowers stamped with Archival Brilliance pearlescent blue stamp pad
Stamped flowers cut manually and stuck with double sided foam tape

Leaves cut freehand with scissors

Blue bow and lacy ribbon from my stash

'You're wonderful' stamp from Whisper words - Do crafts stamped
and
heat embossed with black glitter embossing powder on hand torn pearlised paper

Fiskar's scalloped edge border punch for the border

I am going to post this blue and brown card for the weekend linky party at Monique's blog - www.naturallymecreations.blogspot.com/

This card was Aleeza's handiwork this evening.

I was presented with this cute book mark by Aleeza and her classmates when I went to read them a book for Valentine's Day. It means a lot to me - so thoughtful of the teacher to do that...
I conducted a card making activity for the three-year-olds with lots of help from the teacher.
This card above was made by Aleeza.

What a sweet Valentine gift, and a great rememberance of the time you spent there :) Love the blue and brown color combo of the first card and the lace embellishment is perfect!

FABULOUS!!!! ALL of these.
First of all - your card is just outstanding! Love that blue and brown and such beautiful flowers! So shimmery and pretty.
Aleeza's card is darling! Love that little teddy bear with all the flowers surrounding him.
The bookmark is precious!!! And I'm sure you'll put that to very good use - and keep it forever!
Great card by a 3 year old!!! So pretty and I know the kids had so much fun making them - especially with you teaching them!
All are fabulous.

Oh Monica, how beautiful is this card. I love how you design your cards as they are always so unique and gorgeous. The petals on that shimmery card stock really is lovely and I love how you have the leaves cut out like that - a beauty to behold for sure - perfect touch with the blue bow. The lace adds to the elegance! Now how cute is dear little Aleeza! I know you beamed with pride seeing your little one's handiwork. She'll be just like her sister and you'll have to make sure they all have their little craft spaces and bins. The bookmark from the kiddies is so adorable! And Aleeza's card is so cute - what fun it must be with the girls!!

Your card is a burst of smiles, and the creativity from Aleeza is so sweet. You are starting the next generation of crafters! Monica, I laughed out loud as I scrolled your blog page and saw the picture of your goodies and read the caption about your DH! I hope he is feeling better, and I hope you are enjoying your goodies too! lol No guilt! They help you to be happy, and your happiness is essential to happiness in the home!
Your baby card is very pretty, too. Enjoy your weekend!
