Hello bloggers,

Hope you are having a good and relaxing Easter weekend... I certainly am...

This is a card I have made for Rosalee's 16 year old sister who had a farming accident  in Canada wherein she sadly lost three of her fingers. And here I am moaning and groaning about aching fingers and shoulders... shame on me, really!

I stamped my Hero Arts flower stamp on pearlised white paper (which was sent by kind Leigh) with Jim Holtz Ranger distress ink in crushed olive. I coloured in the flowers with my gold Sakura markers.

The gold cord is from my stash while the green printed paper was also sent by dear Leigh.

The sentiment is handwritten - am not too pleased with it to be honest. This card could have been more cheerful and somehow it doesn't seem right for a 16 year old. I do hope it cheers her up, though. And as usual, it looks nicer in real life.

Happy Easter to all of your lovely, lovely people out there.

Hugs,

Monica

I don't even care what the card looks like and what kind of work you've done.. All I care about is you took time to do it for someone I don't think you know personally.. For that alone.. hats off... On a serious note.. great work as always.. I cannot say anything about your stamping because I have no idea about it...
