A very bright Diwali card

Hello bloggers,

Gentle warning - you may need sunglasses to view this card...

Here is a card for Diwali - the Indian festival of lights. Diwali is all about colour and glitter so I tried and made this card as bright as could be. The little Indian embellishment you see with sequins and a gem in the centre is from India and so is the very metallic orange paper which has been embossed. The paper went was done with my fave Swiss dots embossing folder.  The tear drop gems are from Paper Mania and the gold ribbon is from my stash.

Down below is Aleeza pulling a funny face at her teddy bear's picnic all in the comfort of her room :-) I thought picnics were always in a garden, never mind! Lol.

She made these flowers out of play dough entirely on her own... they looked so pretty in real life that I had to photograph them - sadly it is not the best picture (it shook a bit).

I will enter my card in the following:

Catch you later,

Monica

hahaha - did you teach Aleeza to make that face? Monica, she really is a sweetie, isn't she? Your card is lovely in all its sparkliness and layers - I especially like your choice of tear drop jewels for little flowers. Very pretty! hugs, de
