Commissioned card

Hello lovely people out there,

When I don't blog I feel strange as though something is missing from my life. Wonder if  you feel that way as well.

Here is a card I made for someone... I don't remember the stamp but I bought these clear stamps with lots of cars on them.
The twine, wool and mosaic are from my stash. I have sponged the embossed paper with fired brick.  The little 3D dots are pop up fabric paint in brown.

I collected another chest of drawers this afternoon and hopefully I will be able to stock the rest of my supplies in there.

I am sorry that I have not been regular with my visits, but will certainly drop by soon.

Hugs until then,

Monica

Hi bloggers,

Hope winter is less extreme... soon it will be March and daffodils will arive...

That reminds me of the poem , "Daffodils" by William Wordsworth...

Does anyone recall it?

I hope I have got the name of the poem and author right?

Here is my latest card for a man really... I cannot believe that I made it this easily!!!

Materials used:

Vanilla card stock

For the distressed effect on the sides I have used Jim Holtz  ranger distress inks -
                                     wild honey
                                     peeled paint
                                          and
                                     rusty hinge

The squiggly design and happy birthday sentiment stamp are JUMBO stamps from Stampendous impressions.

I used a mixture of wild honey and rusty hinge to stamp the squiggly design.

The happy birthday sentiment was done with a mixture of rusty hinge and walnut stain.

The random pieces of mosaic are from my stash.

I do like how this card turned out... hope you like it, too.

On second thoughts which I seem to have often, I think I should have used mosaic all over the card. I was being stingy because I love this embellishment and want it to last a loooong time.

I am going to submit it for the following challenge:

www.craftyourpassionchallenges.blogspot.com/ - anything goes

Hugs,

Monica

Zeenya's card for her Dad's birthday

Hello bloggers,

I believe it is snowing in the UK - please do stay warm and cozy where ever you are...

Zeenya made this card in minutes with peel offs and some handcut clouds and green. It is for her Dad's birthday tomorrow. He loves golf so she thought it would be ideal to make a golf birthday card.

And of course your's truly did not make a card for the simple reason that I am a bit saturated with making cards after selling over 100 cards and collecting USD 250/. All I am trying to do is tidy up and when I try saving those small scraps of paper it gives me a headache... I am trying to save them in seperate folders but cannot get there. Any tips on organising my craft space are more than welcome.

Hugs,

Monica

Card for men

I made this card last night using a vingtage car stamp. I lack ideas for making cards for men at most times... I literally have to struggle!!!
The green and the blue strips are made of cloth  which I recycled. The green embossed paper is handmade from India.
