Hello sweet peeps,
Today there was a beautiful earth day celebration in Aleeza's school and they sang a lovely song called, "Mother Earth, Mother Earth, it's a great place to be..."
I am so happy that seven cards have sold in Aleeza's school so far and that takes my count to a total of 50 so far this year. I must thank you all for the encouragement and support you all give me. Blogging has done much for me to say the least.
And now to my card following a sketch for
Crazy 4 Challenges. It took me forever to create this card even though it was such a nice and easy sketch. The image is a stamp from Penny Black which has been coloured in with water colour pencils, cut out and popped on foam dots on the punched white paper which has also been stuck with foam dots to give it more dimension. The paper is from a roll of wall paper and the mesh is from my stash as are the buttons. It looks a bit lop sided in the picture but in real life it looks okay. The sentiment is handwritten (I am not impressed with it) and I have used liquid pearls for added interest.
Down below is Aleeza's contribution for Earth Day - she says it is a little girl hugging the earth.
Wish you a pleasant week ahead.
Love,
Monica
