For my mum's 80th birthday

Hello dear bloggers,

Today is my mum's 80th birthday and I am so grateful for her. She is one of the kindest, wisest and funniest people all rolled into one person, not to mention how young at heart she is. I made this card at 5 am this morning for her. She lives in India while we are in Singapore. I am waiting patiently to give it in person to her.
The background of this card has been made with Camlin gel crayons which are sparkly so it really looks nice in real life. The roses have been die cut using Alte New rose dies and the leaves have been cut using a Spellbinder die from a set. The papers that have been used to die cut the roses and leaves have been coloured with acrylics and watercolours respectively. I have used scraps of water colour paper for the leaves.  The numericals have been die cut as well. I sent the photo of the card to my mum and she really liked it.

I will participate in the following challenges:

Hello

 Hello dear bloggers,

Here is a card to show you embossed with my new embossing folder from Tim Holtz. The flowers were so pretty that I left them the way they were. I put a sheet of corrugated cardboard under the embossed cardstock for added interest.
A double ribbon in yellow and black/white at the bottom and a die cut sentiment completed the card.

I will enter this card in the following challenges:

You're Tea-rrific

 Dear bloggers,

This card has been made with a Kaiser Craft clear stamp and I have coloured it in with two shades of Prismas.
The flower with a little rhinestone in the centre was made by me many years ago and it seemed to fit in nicely.
The leaves have been punched and were coloured with green food colour.
The ' you are Tea-rrific' sentiment is part of the stamp while the 'happy birthday' sentiment has been handwritten.
I rested the first Spellbinder nestie on another one for more interest.

Hello

Hello dear bloggers,

Here is a card I have made for the challenge at https://aaacards.blogspot.com/ which is 'corner' plus optional twist 'cosy'. It is a Kaiser Craft clear stamp that has been used here and the image has been coloured with Lyra pencils. Distress ink has been used to sponge the corners of the image.
The bow is hand tied and the sentiment is handwritten. The layer beneath the image was painted with acrylics and the sentiment was written on the same paper.

I will participate in the following challenges:

Happy Birthday

Hello sweet bloggers,

Here is a card to show you which has been made with snippets lying on my table. The designer paper is a Singapore brand while the embossing folder is a Tim Holtz one. The baker's twine and ribbon are from my stash. The gifts were propped on thick cardboard to give them dimension. The sentiment is handwritten and yes, the thin white strip right on top the card was stuck to hide a boo boo.

I will take part in the following challenges:

Best wishes

 Dear bloggers,

The clear stamp that I have used on this card is from Kaiser Craft and I have coloured the image with my daughter's colour pencils. The designer papers are from my stash. A Kaiser Craft die has been used to cut the sentiment which was coloured with Pentel watercolours after being die cut.
There was a boo boo on the right hand side of the card hence I had to do some bandaging with the designer paper on both sides to make it appear symmetrical.

Partly recycled thank you card

Hello dear bloggers,

Here is a card that has been made from the packaging of "Merci" chocolates and a Kleenex tissue box. The slim layer on the very top is fancy washi tape. I quite like the stylishness of this card.
