Hiya everybody,
Both Aleeza and Zeenya are asleep so I thought I would post another card...
This card is rather simple but you will not believe how long it took me to complete - FOREVER!!!
Materials used:
White cardstock
Ribbons and woolen yarn: all from my stash
Embossing done with Cuttlebug pram
Distressing with Jim Holtz Ranger distress ink - broken china
Rounded the corners of the rectangular patch with Ek Success corner rounder
Used double sided foam to give the pram more dimension
Sentiment - printed ribbon which I cut and pasted
Ribbon weaving - with my Fiskars border weaving punch (love affair gets stronger...lol!)
Am going to enter this card in the following challenges:
www.ynschallenges.blogspot.com/ - feeling blue (no I am not, lol)
www.alyssundaychallenge.blogspot.com/ - anything goes (my fave challenges when it is anything goes)
It is a simple card but they do seem to be in demand at my charity sales, you know.
Hugs,
Monica

Hi Monica, what a gorgeous baby boy card. I love the stamped image; your distressing is very nicely done. The ribbons do work so well together; just love the weaving! It's so beautiful.
Hello Monica. How beautiful is this. Such a fab image and the ribbon is just the most perfect match for it. Love it. Happy crafting.

Adorable baby card! Thanks for participating in the challenge. Good luck!!
Wow, Monica, I really missed a bunch of posts! : ) Such a sweet baby boy card! I can believe it took you a while, look at everything you did to it, PLUS you had to thread that beautiful ribbon thru those ribbon slats. That must have taken some time. All in all your efforts will be appreciated, I'm sure.
What a nice boy card! Once again, I love the ribbon weaving!! And that's a great use of the "It's a Boy" ribbon!
