I have used the same stamp, coloured it in with Darwent water colour pencils but gave it a touch of glitter with glitter glue and my Sakura metallic pens ... wish you could see it in real life. The watches you see in the background are from Hero Arts stamp. I used different distress colours to stamp it and distressed the borders as well. Embossing done with my beloved Cuttlebug and the lace border has been punched with my Martha Stewart border punch. Which one do you like more? Wow! Nice card Monica. Especially I like turtles smile. He's looking very happy....
Cute cards, I love the bg dp on both cards too.
Hello Monica!! Thx for visiting my blog and leaving such a sweet msg!
Your cards are sooooo cute! I love the softness of them!
What an adorable card, Monica! You know with a hand writing like yours, you don't need to buy any sentiment stamps.
I really like BOTH of them Monica! Love that little image and the sentiment on the first one is just PERFECT!

Hard to choose a favorite, but I'm so impressed with the hand written sentiment...I can in no way do that! Amazing :)
Hi Monica, thanks for commenting on the blog award posts as well as all my others - you're so thoughtful! You know I love that you embossed the borders - I'll have to do that - it really is lovely. I love turtles. I love how you colored the shell and each card has a bit of fun embellies on it - just perfectly placed! It's hard to pick which one I like best because I like them both so much! Great job with the calligraphy!
These cards are both so cute. I just love turtles. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Terrific Monica!!! Love the time pieces as the background to the turtle. How fantastic!!!

Hi Monica
Two fabulous cards.
It's a really tough choice............but I think I like the first one best.
I love the embossing on the first one and the beautiful border punch on the second.
Thank you for linking up to Make It Monday this week.

Hey sweetie, your card is amazing and I love the writing you did with the Calligraphy pen! Love your turtle and the back ground embossing!! I am only 20 minutes away from Baltimore!! Do you ever visit your aunt?xoxoxoxo
I like your turtle cards, the sentiment on the first one is great, too! Nice writing, I thought it was a stamp!
Monica, this card is particularly special to me. It is a reminder to me that has been very encouraging. You make such cute cards! And your 'recycle' attitude is so inspiring!
