Less is More

Hello bloggers,

Here is a card I made for Less is More - the theme being metal. Getting a decent picture was the hardest thing - to say the least!

Base card stock -  beautiful metallic dark blue (sorry, that it kind of looks deep grey and that makes my heart grey, lol!)
Presents - punched with Jeff  on metallic mauve
Lilac metallic tissue paper - Paper Chase
Metallic ribbon - Anchor
Rhinestones - from stash
Glitter - purple and silver from stash

I am also going to enter this card in Michelle's MIM - Make it Monday Linky party.

I think this is a rather uncreative card but the card stock looks really nice in real life and that adds some charm to it's otherwise staid look.

Hi Monica,
Nice card, a shame the blue metalic doesn't show, bet it's lovely. TFS.

Hello lovely Monica. Its not staid at all. Very effective with the blue card and it does shine through. Love the little presents, so pretty and very cute. Happy crafting.

Lots of metallic things here Monica, which has made it really difficult to do justice to in a photograph. I'm sure it twinkles like mad in real life.
Thanks so much

You are too hard on yourself Monica. The card is quite lovely , yes metalic is hard to photograph but we get the idea. And besides the pressys look great .
