Hello lovely bloggers,
Thanks for the comments on my last post and that prompted me to try the same sentiment stamp (from Penny Black) again. The striped paper is fancy gift wrap while the black and white keys have been stamped with a small Prima stamp. I had to stamp it twice to cover the entire length. Used Brilliance graphite black ink and am quite happy with the way it turned out. Actually I love this stamp even though I have to go over it with a fine tipped marker almost everytime and that can be a bit trying you know.
I have used Washi tape at bottom of the white stamped strip. This was another attempt at a making flat card though I was tempted to add crystals or pearls BUT I resisted. Lol.
I will enter this in the following challenges:

Down below is something I saw on Facebook and had to share it.
Will come and visit later.

Hi, Monica - so glad you resisted your temptation to add something more - this is a GREAT masculine card - and a sentiment which is appropriate for either gender. I especially like the combination of designer papers, and how you have taken the DP from the background panel and run it sideways to accommodate the sentiment tag. Wonderful card! hugs, de
Wonderful card Monica, I love all the keys, the design and the sentiment.

Monica, the key reference with the background paper is so cute; love when I can do that with my crafting. You did a wonderful job with the papers and keeping everything on point; love it! It's many thanks to you seeking me out after such a long time; though I'd been sneaking at your blog the entire time..heehee; finally got my mojo back! ;-) So glad you stayed in support of me!
Beautiful card Monica! Have you tried putting a piece of packaging foam under your paper and stamping on it, I get much better impressions that way. Love your share too, so true! ~Diane
Monica, this is fab!!!! Loving the sentiment and this is just the right stamp image for that. Beautiful!
I put a piece of foam type stuff under my card stock when stamping something like this - sometimes it works and sometimes, not.
