For Less Is More - handmade flowers

Hello sweet peeps,

I hope you are having a good weekend... out here it is already past 7 pm in the evening. Aleeza went back to school last week and Zeenya goes back in mid August. Aleeza was so happy to go back to her friends and normal routine and so was I.
Over at Less is More the challenge for this week is to make a card with handmade flowers. So here is mine made with my new Sizzix flower dies from Susan Tierney (bought with much excitement). It took me forever to place the flowers right and yet I was not too pleased with the result. Not sure whether I would be trying my hand at this again. The washi borders are from my stash and the sentiment is from Docrafts. By the way, the flower is a red poppy but for some reason my camera decided to give it a magenta-ish shade.

I will also enter this card in:

Off to visit and comment now.

Love,

Monica

Hi Monica, this flower looks lovely, it goes well with the dark washi tape. Very pretty combination. I have a few of these dies on my wish list ! I'm just not sure how they would go in the post though? :) Cathy x

Lovely flower Monica-i can see that the red would go perfectly against the dark Washi-(i don't know why cameras change colours like that-it drives you mad doesn't it ?)

Aw, dear Monica, you need to stop being disappointed with your creations. We are all our own hardest critics. Still, if you don't like something or are disappointed, let your audience determine that - The first thing that I said to myself when I saw your card was: HOW BEAUTIFUL! And then you tell me you are disappointed LOL It truly is a lovely card with amazing color blast! big hugs to you!

Fabulous poppy Monica, looks great on the washi tape a product I haven't invested in yet! Paper clay is a product from Martha Stewart a bit like fimo but so easy to use and so light the embellies don't register on digital scales:)
