Pictures of my charity card sale on November 18th

Hello crafting soulmates,

Here are pictures of one my cards for the charity sale. The silvery paper was made my Aleeza. She spread glue on a recycled paper and sprinkled glitter on it and this was the result. I managed to make over 40 cards in a week.

This was my table which I decorated with black and red to follow the colour scheme of the venue which was a gymnasium on the 38th floor of a building

Down below is the sunset from the venue - pretty, isn't it?

I will enter my card in the following challenges:

Happy crafting,

Monica

Hi Monica! I found my way here from Sonia's blog! What a lovely card you made here - really elegant. I adore white and silver together - Aleeza did brilliantly!

I can see some mutual blogland friends already came to call on you (Sonia, Cathy, Brenda and Lynn) - isn't it a small world really. If ever you want to come and play with us in Pixie's Snippets Playground we'd love to see you. You just have to use a scrap or snippet of card, paper, ribbon or similar on your entry. And upcycling also counts - I see you do quite a bit of that when I've been reading your blog. The Playground is a fun place with some lovely people and you would be very welcome. We also have a weekly prize - this is last week's blog post (every Sunday):

Finally, I was fascinated to read that you currently live in Singapore. Many years ago as a child (and I do mean many years!) I lived there with my parents and they were three very happy years. We've been back a couple of times in recent times and of course Singapore has changed immensely - but it is still a very special place with many happy memories.

Hugs

I meant to say, such a clever idea of Aleeza's to make her own glitter paper.
