Shellebrate for Less is More

Hello sweet peeps,

Oh how I miss blogging when I am not able to...

Been a busy time yet I managed to make this card with my new diecuts. The designer paper is from my stash and the shells and sentiment have been die cut from a paper cup, rather two paper cups. I sponged the shells with distressed ink and brushed them with metallic Wink of Stella. The shells have been stuck with double sided foam to make them pop. They do look beautiful when they sparkle under light. I had this tray full of shells so decided to use it as a prop.

I will submit this card in the following challenge:

Happy crafting,

Monica

Wowser, Miss Monica! FABULOUS CAS card - I love it! Beautiful, sunshiny colors, and an amazing design! lovely blended shells, and that sentiment is beyond imaginative! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Your tray of shells was the perfect backdrop, too. I have quite an extensive shell collection. Some belonged to my Grandpa (I recently passed those along to my cousin), some belonged to my mom, but most are mine. I'm ashamed to say I had purchased some shells and corals before realizing that it meant some animals and reefs were being endangered. Still, they are incredible, and I enjoy looking that them. Back to your card... I've pinned it to help use as a guide for making CAS - I really want to learn to do those. That is my new mantra for 2018 - LEARN CAS. LOL Thanks for the inspiration today! hugs, de

What a wonderful card Monica - love that you have made the shells from a disposable cup, and I always love a good pun, and your sentiment is certainly that!!
