Partly recycled and homemade embossing paste

Hello dear bloggers,

I keep hoping that this virus will leave us sooner than it came. So this card is a tribute to it in advance. I hope this lockdown results in an open up and we find the key to our freedom. All puns intended in the hope of reality.

I have used my homemade embossing paste and a die cut lock and key from a die set. A brochure has been used to cut the dies.

I will enter this card in the following challenges:

Recycled card for a man

Hello dear bloggers,

Here is a masculine card to show you which has been lying on my art table for the longest time.

I wanted a sentiment for it and finally decided to handwrite it except that that exercise had to be repeated because the first time around the sentiment was written upside down. I had to handwrite it all over again and stick it over the previous one.
The gold cogs were cut of Ferraro Rocher chocolate wrappers and the brown background was achieved with a Basic acrylic paint tube.
The brown paper was embossed and the leftover circles from the diecut cogs were used to fill up the embossed cogs.

Thank you/ partly recycled

Hello dear bloggers,

This card has a rose border punch at the bottom. The sentiment has been die cut from a cake box and the pearls are from my stash.

Sparkle!!!

Hi bloggers,

Here is a card that is partly recycled yet again. I have used a very old piece of wallpaper sample (19 years and over if you want to know) to die cut the butterflies.
Over the butterflies, a Sakura gel pen was used to give a special effect.
I had to cover a faux pas hence the rose gold washi tape (bought from Typo - an Australian stationery chain of stores that is much loved by teens). The sentiment is also a washi tape.

Partly recyled circles

Hello dear bloggers,

Here is a card I made a couple of nights ago with recycled foil which I embossed. The green paper is actually visiting card paper. The black circles have been die cut from recycled paper.
Simple and happy!

Partly recycled/ Dream

Hello dear bloggers,

Here is my card to show you today which is partially recycled. The background has been made with sparkly Camlin pastel crayons and it looks quite pretty in real life. This is the best I could get with the camera. The rose has been die cut from an Altenew die and I have used watercolour paper to cut it. I have used Camlin brush markers and an acetate sheet to achieve this effect on the roses. One of the layers had a coating of glitter glue and I chose to go for it.
The green leaves have been die cut from the packaging of an old perfume bottle. It is a form of pearlized pistachio or something similar. The sentiment is a washi tape, which I simply love.

Recycled thank you

Hello bloggers,

Here is a card I made a few days ago with a cupcake box. Their cupcakes are the most delicious to say the least and I have collected a serious number of boxes. So you may see plenty of it in the coming days. Lol.
The black paper is also from an old file that belonged to Aleeza so this card is pretty much recycled.

I have used a die that I ordered from ebay a few months ago for the nesties. I have used them earlier and quite like it.
The thank you sentiment has been cut from a card stock. I know I use it often which bears testimony to the fact that I LOVE it.

I will participate in the following challenges with my simple beauty:
