HANDMADE CARDS WITH LOVE FOR CHARITY

I dry embossed this and glued it on to metallic green paper... sorry the picture quality is not the best.

For the shading I used pastel chalks from Dover craft. My daughter picked them up from a craft store in the UK thinking that they were eye shadows and that she could use them for dress ups!

I love using these chalks.

Yes, I love the thrill I get from selling my cards for charity... it gives me a high.

And as I always say, it is good to sell them off otherwise my home would be too messy.

About Me

My name is Monica and I am a mother to two lovely girls aged 22 and 14. We moved back to Singapore in June 2014 after having lived in Jakarta, Indonesia and Mumbai. I have a background in Psychology and Sociology Honours along with a post grad diploma in Journalism. I used to work in direct marketing for a premium hotel in India before I decided to become a stay at home mother. I have been creating and selling greeting cards for charity since 17 years. I often use unusual packaging material on my cards to respect and care for the environment. Presently, I share my cards as well as the proceeds from their sales with a shelter that houses and supports abused women in Singapore.
