Hello bloggers,
Hope you are all well and enjoying crafting.
I am sorry that some of you had trouble leaving a comment on my last post... the reason being not blogger but me, duh!!! I accidentally clicked hid on the comment button. Anyway had clicked on the right button and saved it.
Here is a card I made last night for Less is More, the theme being 'something that moves'.
I am going to be sending it for crafty Linby's brother's friend, Ryan who has had a pretty serious accident.
I hope he is in a better state by the time the card reaches him ( will take a month... yes, that long ).
Close-up of the imae - the glitter still doesn't show |
My precious, precious Pahua shells |
Supplies:
Card base - white card stock
Designer paper - from Terry's blog candy
Stamp - owl with matching sentiment ( kind courtesy Sandra ) on white card stock
Heat embossing - with shiny black embossing powder
Stamp colouring - with pearlised chalks and Sakura glitter pen
Branch under the owl - hand drawn and coloured with Sakura glitter pen ( did you know that I could draw? )
Sentiment - heat embossed as well
Distressing on edges - faded jeans
Shells - Pahua shells bought when I visited New Zealand ( hoarding them for years! )
Do tell me what you think of it...
Hugs,
Monica

Love the card Monica and the shells I am a bit of a shell freak too and like picking bits up if I am around beaches where they can be found. Atthough now so many beaches are cleaned for visitors there are not often many to find..
