Hello dear bloggers,
Hope you are all well and healthy. I think we are a blessed community because creativity keeps us happy and when we are happy, we are healthy.
Now to my card - the background has been hand painted with acrylic paints and I have also added a touch of gold to the greens. The gold leaf is part of a set that I bought from London many years ago. It is meant to decorate cups and such but I thought of putting it on a card. This creation was left sentiment free so as to make it a generic card.
I will participate in the following challenges with my card:
http://craftycardmakers.blogspot.com/ - create your own bg
http://dreamvalleychallenges.blogspot.com/ - all occasions
https://jansdigistampschallenges.blogspot.com/ - anything goes
https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/ - play with paint
http://dragonflydreamschallenges.blogspot.com/ - no patterned paper
http://lilpatchofcraftyfriends.blogspot.com/ - anything goes

Monica, this card is gorgeous! I have never thought to use acrylic paint for a background but I can promise you that I will be giving it a go very soon!!! Your color combo is beautiful... though my mind is spinning thinking of gold embossing with fall colors, silver embossing with wintery colors, and maybe something fun and colorful for spring, like cherry blossom pink with a peachy/yellow background. I'll be sure to link back to you should I create and post something inspired by your card!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us and I do hope that you will be back soon to play along again!
