Hello plus too much gloss

Hello dear bloggers,

This card was made many years ago but something went amiss with the glossy accents and there was an overdose of it on the stencilled flower. The card stock got warped and I stuck another one under it. Yet the layer of glossy accent was too strong. The sentiment is a die cut from a set of Sizzix dies.
I am not sure whether I should even post this card since the sponging is a bit messy to add to it. The flower centre looks quite pretty in real life with the little dots I made with a blue metallic Sakura gel pen.

For the backdrop, I have used a sheet from last year's Singapore Airlines desk calender. I think that is the cool part of this photo.

A bauble for Christmas with love and light in it.

Dear bloggers,

This card was designed by Aleeza. I used a die cut to make the ornament from a yoghurt lid and embossed it with a Christmas folder. Used a black ribbon and silver cord and that is it. Never mind that it took me forever to stick to the card. Just when I thought it was time to give up, I tried many layers of double sided tape and it worked.

I will participate in the following challenges:

https://aaacards.blogspot.com/ - maxi white space + optional metallic

Wish you happy cardmaking,

Birthday wishes

Hello dear. bloggers,

This card took me a long, long time to make since I die cut a big rectangular from Kaiser craft nestie out of a small piece of cardstock.

To add to it, I insisted on using it, being the Queen of recycling.
After many months I finally found this die-cut butterfly from Kaiser craft in my stash. My steady friend, the famous Cuttlebug helped me as ever with all the die cutting here.

The paper I have used for the butterfly die is watercolour and I did some kind of smoosh technique on it.
The little pearls were used to make it elegant as well as to hide a few faux pas.
The sentiment was store bought from the UK many years ago while the doily is something I had won in a lucky draw many years ago in blog land.

Hand printed paper from India

Dear sweet bloggers,

This card was made with hand printed paper from India and it looks really pretty in real life.
The shiny washi tape is also from India.
It took me a while to stick the washi tape as it was one of those that was pretty strong minded when it comes to sticking. Lol.

Happy Birthday card this time

Hello bloggers,

Here is my card to show you today. The cupcake topper was in my stash and I do know that I paid a bomb for it in Indonesia. The washi tapes are from Japan and Singapore. The rhinestones are from Kaiser craft while the sentiment banner is store bought. I am fairly pleased with this card. And yes, there is absolutely nothing recycled on this card for a change.

I will submit this card in the following challenges:

Happy card making and stay healthy,

Another thank you! What???

Hello dear bloggers,

This card was made in December when my older one was here from University over Christmas.

I had these really cool stickers which had holographic circles. I took a couple and more of my flower punches and punched the flowers making sure the centre is aligned with the actual centre of the flower.
In real life, the flowers look really cool. The ribbon is really fancy and the sentiment has been die cut using black cardstock.

I will submit my card in the following challenges:

Catch you later,

I could make thank you cards for ever

Dear sweet bloggers,

In May 2010, I will complete 10 years of blogging. That is a landmark and the joys that have come along with the kindest people I have met have changed my life. Anyway, I should save these golden words for the anniversary. Lol.

I got taken away there and now back to my card. This is the new die that I bought online from Sizzix, I think.
The sentiment is from a die and I have used packaging material for it. It had to be stuck right where it is since there was a strange stain from the distress inks.

Distress inks were used on the folder to colour the trees. Twine at the bottom completed the picture which has been knotted in two places as it seemed a bit stiff.

Now let me see if I can find any challenges to fit in this card.

I will enter this card in the following challenges:

Happy card making,
